I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while now. I have a few that I check up on every now and then, and each time I read someone's blog I think, "why don't I do that?" I feel like this might be a great way to document what is going on in our lives. I hope it allows us to share a bit of our life with our friends and family who we aren't lucky enough to see on a regular basis.
I always have good intentions of journaling, and may even start doing it for a week or so, but I quickly fall out of the habit. I am often at the computer though, so perhaps this is a better way! Plus, my main motivation to start this now is that our son Owen is growing remarkably fast and I just don't want to forget a thing! By taking the time to write about it, I can reflect on all of those little moments that make up our oh so full life!
I thought the title of our blog was very fitting..."La Vita e Bella" There are a few reasons that I chose it. First of all, anyone who knows me, knows that I am slightly obsessed with anything Italian. While studying there for a summer, I fell in love with the country, the culture, the people...just everything about it! The other reason is obvious...because life really is beautiful! I have been feeling so incredibly blessed lately. I have an amazingly loving and supportive husband, the most incredible son, and I couldn't ask for better family and friends! So I hope that this blog gives everyone a little window into our exciting day to day life :-)
