Blog Envy

I have recently become obsessed with reading different blogs. This is mostly in thanks to Pinterest...which is also a new obsession of mine! My baby sister even started her own blog about her brave new path in life and her adventures in the kitchen. So between pinterest, friend recommendations, and Bailey's blog, I spend a good portion of my day reading about other people's interests.

With this has come a bit of blog envy. I think...why didn't I write about that? I am caught somewhere between the wonder moms who cook one day a month for the entire month, the amazing elf on a shelfers, those who proudly vocalize their desire to "punch people in the throat", and the brave women who pour their souls to the public in such a raw and inspiring way.

I find myself laughing and crying with these complete strangers. So now, I am inspired to find my own voice and write my own story. I am still going to be caught somewhere in the middle of all of those other amazing women...but you know what? That is perfectly ok with me. I figure the three people who actually read my blog will probably fall somewhere right in the middle with me. I attempted the whole blog thing before, but really used it more as a way to chronicle the day to day things in the lives of our children. There will definitely still be some of that...after all, that is mostly what makes up my life. But, I am going to attempt to be more candid. Talk more about how and why and not so much about the who, what, when and where. I honestly haven't done much writing since my sophomore year in college when it was required, so bear with me...its bound to be a bumpy ride!
